The iPad with Retina Display just got a memory boost to 128GB: this means more room for all your photos, documents, projects, presentations, books, movies, TV shows, music and apps. Now weighs in at $800, however.
The iPad 4 with 128GB serves corporate needs
Who'd spend that? Well, Apple has the answer: the corporate world, to start,of course! Virtually all of the Fortune 500 -- and over 85 percent of the Global 500 -- are currently deploying or testing iPads, according to Apple's press release. Among the millions of iPad users there's a requirement for more space for high-performance apps and company projects.
The updated iPad will serve the almost 10 million iWork users and companies that regularly use large amounts of data such as 3D CAD files, X-rays, film edits, music tracks, project blueprints, training videos and service manuals.
The fourth generation iPad features:
- 9.7-inch Retina display
- Apple-designed A6X chip
- FaceTime HD camera
- iOS 6.1 and ultrafast wireless performance
- support for additional LTE networks
The new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting Tuesday, February 5th, in black or white, for a suggested retail price of $799 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
